Weather girl’s niece was all smiles when her family vacation didn’t have to be cancelled because of the hurricane.
I don’t know why I took promicin. Maybe it’s because I’ve never done anything remotely spontaneous in my life. Maybe it’s because I was in such a rut I thought the possibility of dying from promicin would be better than dying from boredom. But I did take it. When the first days passed and I was still breathing and still living in my rut, I scolded myself for even taking the drug and a chance. But then it happened.
I was irritated that I didn’t have an ability and that I would have to walk to work in the rain when suddenly the rain stopped and the sun came out. I thought it was just a coincidence (even though I could feel my body tingling all over as the clouds dried up). Then, later that night I was listening to the news and heard about the latest hurricane scheduled to hit the coast. It was going to be a biggie – category 5. The weather guy was reporting live and was actually anchored to the news truck because the winds were so strong and the massive amounts of rain beat into the side of his face. I thought to myself, “Poor guy, I wish the weather would ease up so he could actually speak,” and then it did. I had the same tingly feeling and then it rain and wind eased up. I thought. “This is it!” I concentrated on making the storm stop altogether and then, just like it had that morning, the hurricane stopped dead in its tracks. The TV lit up with breaking news about the incredible weather phenomenon that provided the southern east coast with a much-needed miracle. Satellite photos showed the hurricane’s swirling fury and then it just literally stopped and dissipated.
I’ve tried my new ability several more times and it doesn’t seem to matter if I am physically present or not. I watched a television special on a country in Africa that desperately needed rain and was able to “send” it to them. One day my brother had planned to take his kids fishing and a thunderstorm was about to keep them home so I “sent” the weather away.
I haven’t told anyone about this ability because as others on the forum have mentioned, I don’t want to be used as a pawn in a game where so many lives are at stake. I also don’t want to find out if I can “send” bad weather somewhere. I would hate to think that a government could force me to send a tsunami to a country they were having problems with or lightning strike enemies. I will have to test this aspect of my ability, but for now I am content sending miracles where they are most needed.

Tsunami’s aren’t really weather so much as geology - more like an earthquake than a tornado.
Sorry Daisy but a Tsunami can be created by weather. A tsunami is a wave that moves across the sea/ocean. Huge or small when they encounter land they washes ashore and can cause a lot of damage. In the past we believed they were all caused by earthquakes displacing ocean sea bed. With the advent of weather satellites we have seen that “rough waves” 80-100 feet above the ocean can and have been generated by the wind. And wind is weather, so if her special ability includes making the wind blow across an ocean, she could generate a Tsunami.
Ok as long as your using the ability for good it should be alright but dont cause lighting to hit your enemies or something
I will use my ability for good, not evil.
