Submission: “Elemental Absorber”

Lucid’s having hot flashes… and watery flashes… and all sorts of other flashes.

I’ve been doing my own brand of research on promicin since its first emergence in the news. It was not scientific research, but more research as to what it does, and how I can get it. After learning that it has a 50% of unlocking a 4400 ability and a 50% of killing you it took me a little while to make up my mind. In the end I decided to go for it., mainly due to the fact that I felt I had nothing to lose by taking it and so much to gain. Some people would disagree saying how a 19 year old has everything to gain, but I am not here to talk about my problems, I am here to talk about my experience with promicin so let’s get to it.

I took the shot about one month ago and three days after taking it I started to get these very strange feelings. Of course my mind jumped to the worst idea that the promicin was not working and these were the feelings of my body rejecting it, till I noticed I only got these feelings around open flames and water. After that I realized that the shot had indeed worked and that was the feeling of my body going thru a rather large change. Less than two weeks after I took the shot, I was driving home from a night out at a club with a few buddies, when I noticed that the convenience store near my house was on fire. I jammed on the brakes and ran over to the owner standing out front trying to tell him its all right and that I am calling 911 right now, when I got that feeling again like my body was a magnet for the flames. After calling the fire department I moved closer to the burning building and saw the flames trying to move towards me like iron to a magnet. So I moved closer to the flames holding out my hand, unsure of what would happen, and like smoke being sucked into a vacuum the fire flowed into my out stretched hand. I could feel the fire inside my body (which was the strangest feeling I have ever felt). Knowing what just happened and hearing the police sirens I ran to my car and sped home.

That was the first time I used my ability. I didn’t know what to make of it at first, but after some tests with different things I discovered my true ability.

I can absorb raw elements into my body and dissipate them, or, by absorbing large amounts of one element or another, take on that elemental property - but only for a few minutes.

This ability I have been given can be used for so many good things. Using my ability, I can stop natural disasters like tsunamis or floods and prevent fires from spreading or causing too much damage. I can help the police find missing people in the woods or bodies in a lake.

I can’t make people take promicin or convince them they should, because in fact there are people that should never get their hands on promicin. They would use any ability they got for the wrong reasons

I can only tell you I decided to take it, and I survived, and I will use my gift to help out mankind where ever I can.
